This original A4 painting was inspired by a golden afternoon at a winery in the Adelaide Hills. Tipsy on good wine and happiness, I held my daughter close as the sun poured color over the world. In that moment, everything was soft, simple, and perfect — just the two of us, wrapped in love and laughter.

This abstract painting was created using a blend of gouache, watercolour, and pastel. I chose a vibrant palette, layering rich shades of orange, red, and pink to echo the warmth and light of that unforgettable day.
